Camber Sands

We interpreted the partial lifting of covid restrictions as meaning we could now go to the seaside. We chose Camber Sands because it's wide open and unlikely to be crowded. We sat on a bench and had a picnic (which is legal again) and then took a stroll along the sea wall. We didn't meet many people, but those we did were more than usually friendly. Have the months of lockdown made people more ready to reach out to strangers? It would be nice to think so

I think it has- we have got to know many people locally better because of taking a local walk on the days we don't do long ones- you get to know folks (and their dogs) doing the same thing. :o)
