The rats were quiet last night. The deterrents we've put in place must be working.
Barbara Windsor died a few days ago. John le Carre's death was reported this morning. A guy called Basualdo who used to pimp girls for Prince Charles has died too. The second half of the 20th century becomes less and less accessible, less and less comprehensible, less and less relatable....
I dreamed of a cathedral made entirely of stained glass. Most of the glass had been stripped out- for cleaning or restoration, leaving behind a complicated metal framework. If we moved into the house across the way- which we were thinking of doing- we would be able to watch as it was put back together again.
