Feeling Sunday

It is very unlikely we'll be seeing the grandchildren- or nephews and nieces- over Christmas so everything will be going in the post- and getting that done can't be left much longer. Our next day out is Tuesday; can I get everything wrapped by then? I shall try.

And then there are the Christmas cards. Ailz thinks we should be sending them out to my mother's friends if only to let them know she's still alive. I don't exactly disagree. It's a chore but also a kindness and the latter outweighs the former.

We asked K- my mother's carer- how she was feeling this morning (as one does by way of politeness) and she said she was "feeling Sunday". Me too. I feel very Sunday.

We were considering going down to the relatives in Kent this year but that isn't going to happen and we have two great nephews we have yet to meet. :o(

This year's cards have had to come via Amazon which is less than ideal.

Oh dear. :/ A strange Christmas befitting a strange year.

//And also: Happy Sunday-y Sunday. :)

Well, I misunderstood, then.
