Finished

This morning I wrote the final line of [livejournal.com profile] purchas.

Over the next few days I will be posting the concluding episodes and doing some revision on what has gone before (stylistic revision- nothing that affects the plot)

Then I will take a break.

But I'm already thinking about the sequel, which is going to be set in the 1530s.

When does the mini-series air?

I wish....

waaaaahhh I'll miss this :(.

Me too.

Which is why there'll be more of it....

Soon.

Somebody better have slipped the elixir to the right person and slipped in a wax dummy in the church of the Gray Friars, if he knows what's good for him.

Hey, I have no control over what gets slipped where. The characters tell me what they want to do and I just go along with it.

And that, friend is the magic of your writing. Any writing really, but yours is superb.

Thank you. You're very kind.

Wow. That's a really amazing achievement, and I hope you are glowing with pride right now, because you really deserve to be. And all done under public scrutiny, and I calculate within little more than a month, as well! Pity it wasn't in November, so you could have counted yourself a NaNoWriMo winner. Well, perhaps that would be the perfect time to start on the sequel? ;)

I do hope you'll take it to the next step once you've completed your revisions, and send the typescript to a publisher.

Ailz says she wants to send it to a publisher. I'm going to let her.

I've had a great time doing it and I don't really want to stop. I have the opening for the second story, but until I start writing it I won't know what happens next.

Yes,

I'll be looking into it.....

[identity profile] forestdweller.livejournal.com 2006-02-07 03:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh! Do let us know if you do get this published. I would LOVE a printed copy of Purchas the novel! ^____^

Many congratulations. This is such an adventure, with a surprise every day. And unique and fun.

[identity profile] poliphilo.livejournal.com 2006-02-06 01:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks.

I need to rest my brain before I launch into the second story, but part of me would love to plough ahead regardless.
