a very nice picture indeed...
like looking through the window of
the best sort of doll house.

Very cosy!
And do I see yellow blossoms of...winter jasmine?

Thank you, yes.

It's kinda cosy, I think.

Winter jasmine? Yes, i believe you do.

I love it!

I would love to see a whole photo series taken looking in through people's windows. I have a confession: I love looking in people's windows when I pass by houses. I'm just so curious what their homes look like inside and I try to imagine what their lives are like. And it does feel cozy in a way, too, as someone else mentioned.

I took a whole lot of pictures inside too- and they were the usual thing. Snapshots. A bit blurry bcause I wasn't using flash (I hate flash.) And then I stepped outside and took this on a whim and I didn't think it would work- but I find I really like it.

This is just the best. Like coming home after a long journey to warmth and welcome.

A great composition--warm colors inside framed by the blue window-and just a hint of warmth outside in the yellow flowers on the cold wall--it looks like a montage--I wonder what's going on--three people in their own worlds,

I really wasn't expecting it to come out so well.

I'm proud of this one, but it's almost an accident. I took it on the off chance, not really expecting it to come out so well.

What lures me is its strangeness--why is the woman looking away? Why is the man in the doorway? What is being invoked? It's enchanting.

I could explain what was going on- not very much as it happens- but let's leave the magic undisturbed :)

Thank you for keeping it mysterious!

If anyone looked into my window, they would generally see the same thing: me typing here.
