Plant It And They Will Come
Oct. 18th, 2025 09:34 am Goldfinches! Not one or two but a whole flock of them!
They're not rare, but this is the first time I've seen them in our garden. They only stayed for a moment but now they've scoped us out I'm hopeful they'll return.
Oh, and look! I was about to post this when I spotted a squirrel walking along the fence! Squirrels have visited us before, but not very often.
I think our policy of planting and encouraging trees and shrubs in a space that was mostly lawn is paying off. The back garden isn't a wood yet, but it will be......
