Ncuti Gatwa gives us a Doctor who flirts and weeps. This is new....
Seems like I watched the worst first. I still think the Devil's Chord is pretty dreadful but I see now how it fits into the season- and the remaining episodes are fine. Is there an absolutely top-hole episode? No, I don't think there is- though the bird-aliens cosplaying Bridgewater will, I think, prove memorable.
I will now mothball the BBC i-player- apart that is for Wimbledon- until the next season of Dr Who comes round....
