Echo And Narcissus

 Echo and Narcissus were cursed by the gods. Their story- as told by Ovid in the Metamorphoses- is quite circumstantial, but tradition renders it down to one about a boy who falls in love with his own reflection and a girl who cannot tell her love; They waste away and are transformed into a flower and a wandering voice. Artists and poets keep going back to it- and it is as pretty and sad and profound as you want it to be,

 I call these Echo 1 and Echo 2. I made them with Night Cafe.
