I spent the first half of the night coughing continuously and the second half in a deep, deep sleep. What made the difference was getting up at midnight and having a nice cup of tea.
The teas I choose to drink are Russian Caravan and Lapsang Suchong. I drink the Russian at breakfast and the Chinese through the rest of the day. I take both with oat milk.
Ailz can't stand either She drinks coffee. I drink coffee once a day- round about eleven o'clock. I drink coffee black- and it has to be the real thing. None of your instant muck...

I developed a taste for Lapsang Suchong at school. It was part of my pose- and went with the red cord jacket and the framed postcards of 19th century poets. The Russian Caravan came later- much later. I was browsing a catalogue and the name got to me. So colourful. And so rebellious to be consuming something unafraid to call itself Russian. See, I'm still posing. And why not. It's fun...
