Easter Saturday
Apr. 9th, 2023 08:03 am Easter Saturday was sunny and I took an early lunch and caught the bus into town.
Overheard on bus:
Pre-teen English boy to teenage German girl: Do you have a boyfriend?
Girl (laughing): No.
Boy (in all seriousness): Are you allowed to have boyfriends in Germany?
Town was full. I walked round the town centre and think I finally worked out how all the major streets relate to one another. I visited two shops selling collectables but they didn't have anything I wanted to collect- or not at the prices they were asking. There were stalls set up along the sea front and I admired them all. Then I sat on the beach. Then I went on the pier. Then I caught the bus home. All I bought in all my wanderings was a bunch of bananas. Ailz likes her bananas black and manky and these were well gone. I'll eat bananas in curry but not otherwise....
O, I do like to be beside the seaside,
O I do like to be beside the sea....etc
I caught the sun. Ailz said next time I should slap on some factor 15 or I'd run the risk of having bits of my face fall off...
