No Accident
Jun. 20th, 2022 10:54 amWhen I was young the word "avatar belonged to the vocabulary of esotericism. You'd have come across it if you were into Vedanta or Theosophy or The Golden Dawn, otherwise probably not. Now everyone knows what it means.
All things hang together- and it's no accident that just as we waking up to the unreality of our reality (thanks to Quantum mechanics and the rediscovery of psychedelics) so we also invented the video game- which furnishes us with an even more precise image of what we're up to in this dimension than Plato's parable of the cave or Shakespeare's metaphor of the stage.
