A Proud Moment

 We need to maintain our ancient traditions- and I'm happy to see that the citizens of Liverpool- our noblest city- are maintaining their tradition- established in the shaming days of the Thatcher government and the Hillsborough cover-up- of booing the National Anthem.

To The Rescue

 I was in a dark and cynical mood (see previous post) and was telling myself that dark and cynical is OK in moderation but it was about time I snapped out of it when our youngest grandchild rang up out of the blue- and I found myself spending the next couple of hours on video call as she showed me round their house, threw hoops, ran round the garden 18 times and drew pictures...
