Phobic

I'm cool with live insects (so long as they don't bite) but dead ones creep me out- so when Julia came in from the garden with a dead bumble bee and suggested we put it in a matchbox for Clover to play with I reacted with something that was closer to hysteria than I was entirely happy with. Afterwards I was afraid I'd offended her and went and apologised- and she showed me the tuft of fox hair she had hesitated to present us with in case I went off the deep end again.
