Cuckmere Haven
Mar. 31st, 2021 09:18 amIf you stand on the shingle beach at Cuckmere Haven and look to your left you see the first of the The Seven Sisters.
And if you look to the right you see the Cuckmere river entering the sea. The tide was coming in strong and the guy in the green canoe was making painfully slow progress. The buildings in the background are the famous coastguard cottages that- shot from the far side with the cliffs behind- are pictured in any number of calendars- also in the movies.
