The silence that comes with snow has a peculiar softness to it. The light that comes with snow is peculiar too because it comes from below as well as above.
I've been eating Christmas pudding. It seems appropriate. Cream and brandy butter are off the menu now we're vegan so I'm adding Cognac straight from the bottle- just to moisten it, you know.
The coolth is draining away from the rock and roll lifestyle. Marilyn Manson wasn't just play-acting it seems. Well of course he wasn't, and we were naive to ever suppose he was. People got hurt.
