The New Normal
Apr. 14th, 2020 11:13 amI'd love to know what is actually happening in the world- in addition, that is, to the progress of the epidemic- which is all the media wants to tell us about.
The farm shop we visit once a week has reorganised itself as a one-way system with arrows painted on the floor to show the direction of travel. They are letting six people in at a time- and Ailz and I played it as a tag-team- with her picking things off the shelves and me taking over at the till.
Of course I want the epidemic to end but, on the other hand, I don't- because lockdown is the new normal and I know how it works and the world that comes afterwards will be strange.
