This is the first time I'd ever bought ten frozen pizzas at a go.
I like the caravan park at Camber- it's nicely kept and has good facilities- but almost every extra comes at a steep price: £5.00 for a brief bounce on the trampolines, £5.00 for half an hour's hire of a pedal cycle- and so on. You think you're buying a cheap holiday but you ain't.
(When I was a kid the slot machines on Brighton pier were just a penny a go and...O, shut up, Granddad.)
Odi was dead set on hiring one of the four-seater cycles- and I said "No" but she wore me down. I sat all cramped up at the front with Miguel and she and Peter sat behind and did the pedalling- and we wobbled round the park- with Ailz riding alongside, outpacing us on her electric scooter- and I couldn't help wondering how this was any improvement on walking.
