A Bit Of A Clear-out

 Julia has cleared out the garage for us. I wouldn't have known where to start. Now everything we wanted rid of- poisons, paints, rusty tools- has gone and everything we might want to keep is in cardboard boxes. Among the things we might want to keep is an enormous earthenware Denby dish- which- unlike most of my mother's best stuff is unchipped, uncracked and not held together with araldite. I regard it as "a find" and have brought it into the house.  One of the things my parents had quite a collection of was relics of departed pets- including a goldfish bowl; the last time anyone in our family kept goldfish must have been about 50 years ago.
