Too Much Stuff

Bother. There's a wheelchair where we normally put the Christmas tree.

No, the wheelchair was there last year and we put the tree in the corner of the living room.

But there's a pile of cushions in the corner of the living room. Where were they last year?

In the kitchen cupboard.

But the kitchen cupboard's full of plastic carrier bags....

Well, It's German, Vaguely...

I'm not someone who goes round the house singing all day- I'd be shouted at if I did- but the act of putting up the Christmas tree demands a vocal accompaniment- something sugary and Germanic. I only know the first line of the most obvious song- which goes "O tanennbaum, o tannenbaum" and the last line which goes "We'll keep the red flag flying here" so I opt for this instead:

What's a girl to do?
Never wanted to.
