Tonsorial Ruminations

I've worn my hair short for a long time now but I'm not sure it really suits me. Perhaps I'll grow it. Last time I did I ended up looking like one of the Furry Freak Brothers- with my funny little nose and specs poking out of a ball of fuzz.  But that was twenty years ago and I won't have that problem now.

Old men look good with wizardly locks. Do I dare attempt the full Gandalf?

I have always rather coveted Willy Nelson's plaits.

Dreaming Of A Funeral

I dreamed we were burying my grandfather. My father walked on ahead to the graveside, leaving my mother and myself (both younger than we now are) at the chapel or the cemetery gates- the point being that we weren't meant to go any further. We clung together- something we'd be unlikely to do in real life.

Not hard to interpret, I think....

If readers of the Daily Mail are as shocked or stunned as it thinks they should be by the stories and pictures it presents them with they must be spending their lives in a state of permanent punchdrunkenness.
