Guardians Of The Galaxy
Oct. 29th, 2016 07:32 pmMy granddaughter (she's three) likes Guardians of the Galaxy- so I watched it so I can discuss it with her when the opportunity arises. She particularly likes Groot. Me too.
It's fun and there are laughs and- omigod- that's Peter Serafinowicz! I'm not going to bore Aria by talking about how formulaic everything is- so I won't bore you either.
I've got this theory that superhero movies are softening us up for alien disclosure. The authorities are hoping the general populace will get so used to seeing odd looking people with strange powers and weird alien technology that when the real thing turns up- as it will do soon- nobody is going to turn a hair...
