Surfing For Secrets
Oct. 1st, 2012 09:17 amI spent much of yesterday among the conspiracy theorists. I began with Jimmy Saville and the elite British paedophile rings he allegedly serviced (it's claimed he pimped boys for Edward Heath) and one thing led to another and I found myself on David Icke's website. I go a long way back with Icke; I was reading him before he turned turquoise. For some reason Ailz and I got to know one of the channellers who helped him out with his early revelations. She liked him but, "As a spiritual leader", she said, "He's a great goal-keeper".
Icke adopts ideas on the basis that if enough people find them annoying they must be true. Among many other things he maintains that the world is run by and for the benefit of the Rothschild dynasty and that the moon is a hollow alien space-craft. Who knows, perhaps he's right.
I ended up watching an interview with Gary McKinnon, the British nerd the US government wants to extradite for visiting top secret sites without an invitation. He was looking for evidence of extra-terrestrial contacts. What I hadn't picked up from any other report of the case is that he thinks he found them. In one file he came across a list of "non-terrestrial officers"- whatever they are. In another he found a stash of undoctored NASA photographs of UFOs.
