Notes

1. Ron and Sheila- Sara's parents- have written us a lovely email. We were all of us so sure of the future- Joe and Sara's future.  How long is it going to take before I can uncouple those names in my mind- Joe'n'Sara, Joe'n'Sara? It makes me all weepy to think about what might have been.

2. The ICM poll I took part in has been published. I was one of a random sample of 11,011 adults aged 18+. Apparently we're unhappy with Gordon Brown and give the Tories a 10 point lead over Labour.

3. There seems to be a ghost in our bedroom. We've both on several occasions heard someone cross the floor at night and assumed it was the other going to the bathroom-  only it wasn't .

Cactus Flower

Equinotial weather- perfectly balanced between the seasons: warm sunshine, cold winds; cherry trees in blossom, snow  lingering on the higher hills.

And one of our cactii is in flower.
