In order to make the house attractive to viewers you have to get rid of clutter.
And what do you do with the clutter?
You put it in boxes.
And the boxes stand around the house making it unattractive to viewers.
We solved this one yesterday by taking a carload of boxes (and a bicycle) round to my in-laws house. And now I ache grieveously through using muscles I didn't know I had.

For The Attention Of All You New Yorkers
Jun. 8th, 2006 02:39 pmMy friend Judy Klass writes....
My full-length play CELL is a finalist (yet again), this time in the Hinton Battle Theatre Laboratory Diverse Voices Competition. Much of the first act is being read, in a staged reading, (and after I've made some judicious cuts) at the Abington Theatre's Dorothy Strelsin Theatre at 312 West 36th Street on the first floor, on Monday, June 12th at 7:00 p.m. The play is still in the running to win the competition, possibly; it's both a play about family and a murder mystery -- a touch of Oedipus here, a touch of Sam Shepard's True West there . . . These folks are good, serious theatre people, and I'm looking forward to a zippy, dramatic reading.
Hope you can come, and please invite anyone you think might be interested ...
