Thaxted 3

St John, Thaxted was assembled between 1340 and 1445- with the tower and spire a late 15th century addition. Thaxted was a wealthy town in the later middle ages- and it shows. One of the porches was the gift of Edward IV and the other was the gift of the Duke of Clarence.
