Ouch! Double Ouch!

Very large wasps or hornets have been coming into the house in the evenings- to bop noisily around the lights. I use a reversed tumbler and a piece of card to catch them. Last night the one I was assisting to leave somehow managed to crawl up the sleeve of my jumper. If you'd been there you'd have seen me frantically stripping off outside the dining room window.

I was gentler with the wasp than the wasp was with me. It stung me twice- on the upper arm and in the angle between neck and shoulder.

I'm still itching this morning.
