Paradise Found
Sep. 29th, 2019 07:25 pmIt's called The Paradise Found Educational Farm Park- and it's at Sapcote just outside Leicester. For £10 a head they'll entertain a bunch of kids for the morning- with food thrown in. They have sheep, pigs, cows, goats, alpacas, ducks, chickens, peacocks, owls, ponies and reindeer- and you get to feed most of them, but not the reindeer because they could hurt you with their antlers. The reindeer are smaller than I thought they'd be.
The rain held off so we didn't have to spend any more time than we had to in the reptile house (more like a reptile passageway, actually) which holds a lizard or two, some hissing cockroaches, some grasshoppers, a bloody enormous tortoise and a plastic crocodile.
