Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire

Ailz has been told she can't drive for six weeks (at least.) Apparently you use your abdominal muscles a lot when you're driving.

It's going to be a quiet Christmas.

No rushing about, no manic cheer.

Oh good.

And not just a quiet Christmas- a quiet winter.

AFter I had my hysterectomy I was told no car RIDING (never mind driving, I don't drive) until the doc cleared me- which was a month.

A quiet Christmas sounds good. And a quiet winter...think of it as hybernation, you'll emerge into spring renewed and energetic.

Seat belts present a real problem. There's no way they can be kept away from the wound.

Hibernations does sound attractive.....
