Glorify

Just before I woke up I had a dream in which a middle-aged woman in early 19th century costume was announcing to her family that from then on she was going to behave as one of the boys. "And I shall say 'glorify' in the middle of the night."

In the context of the dream "glorify" was strong language of the kind only men were supposed to utter.

I don't know why the middle of the night should have been significant but it was...
