poliphiloS is very good at jollying my mother along.
S: Come on, Shirley, Shall we go and have a bath?
My Mother: A bath! (as though she's never had one before).
S; Yes, a bath.
M M: I'm very happy where I am.
S: Yes, I can see that, but unfortunately....
He doesn't argue; he's just firm- but cheerful with it. Always upbeat. Never patronising. He takes control, but nicely...
