Preaching Up A Storm

I dreamed we were processing into church and the bishop said, "I'd like you to preach" and I said, "Certainly, but I'll have to improvise." And so saying, I picked up a red stole. Usually when I find myself doing anything in church it's an anxiety dream- but this was anything but. My sermon came in three parts, the third part being delivered outside as the congregation were leaving. I climbed onto the churchyard wall, high above their heads and roared at them. "Racism comes from Fear," I said. "Fear for self and fear of the other. God loves the sinner but hates the sin." I was speaking so loud I woke myself up.
