The Wind Changes Direction

North Korea has 100% literacy. I know this because I was looking at a set of photos (sorry no link; I can't find them again) which showed North Korean people doing humanly relatable things- like waiting at bus stops and learning to play the zither- with not a single overbearing image of the Dear Leader in sight) which came accompanied by little nuggets of statistical information- mostly upbeat- which were attributed to the CIA.

The CIA? Bloody hell!

So in the wake of the epochal handshake between Kim and Trump the Company is rowing back on the black propaganda and putting out pink propaganda with sparkles in it.

I suspect that the dear mass murderer Kim is what Trumpy boy would like to be..........

Yeah. I've lately seen American lefties quoting the CIA as if it was a reliable source, and have been going, "Wait. YOU TRUST THE CIA? What's WRONG with you?"

(Also, "pink propaganda with sparkles in it" is the perfect description. Thank you for that.)

The CIA...World Factbook? Because that's a whole 'nother animal from the spy side of the agency. They get a lot of their stuff from different sources, such as the UN...which probably got the 100% literacy stat from the NK government.
