Odd, Isn't It?
A few years back Theresa May caused a stir at the Tory Party Conference by telling colleagues it was time they did something to change the perception that they were "the nasty party".
This was the same Theresa May who went on to create the "hostile" regime at the Home Office which resulted in members of the Windrush generation- who had been in Britain legally for half a century- being harassed, stripped of their rights, threated with deportation and banged up in detention centres.
No, it doesn't quite make sense.
