Spring Flowers And Easter Hymns And Dead People

An early memory:

Attending an Easter morning service at a little old whitewashed church on the Sussex Downs- with spring flowers on the ledges and sunshine in the windows- singing hymns with lots of alleluias in them and being vaguely concerned about what would happen if the Last Trump were to sound and all the dead people in the churchyard came out of their graves....
