A Fresh Start

The best thing is we're no longer waiting on other people's decisions.

Ailz says, "We need to start thinking of this place as our home- and not just some place we've pitched up in."

We've been here nearly five years. We could stay many years more. 

We've filled the place with our junk prized personal possessions but the house itself has never felt as if it were ours. This can change.

And as an earnest of my good intentions I've just mopped the kitchen floor.
