Extreme Weather (For The South East Of England)

Temperature below freezing. Snow powdery underfoot. The outside tap isn't working so I've been carrying water to the horses in a bucket. Sainsbury's has suspended all deliveries- including ours- until the weekend- so it's just as well we keep our freezers stocked as if for a siege.

It was nearly three weeks of being trapped in the house due to nasty weather, freezing rain, and excessively icy conditions for me. Finally, tomorrow, I am going to the grocery store to stock up.

I hate winter.

We've had a mild winter up until now.

I don't like being cold. I used not to mind but my tolerance has lessened with age.
