A Place To Sit And Bask

This was where the greenhouse stood until it fell down (with a little help from its friends).  I've had it in mind all along as a place to sit and and bask. The wooden chairs were in in storage and I got them out this morning. I seem to remember them being on the patio at my grandmother's house- where I'd put them together- face to face and make a pirate ship out of them. If I'm right that makes them at least 60 years old.

As soon as I put them in place the local not-so-wildlife moved in.

Looks like a pleasant spot for morning coffee and paper.

That's what I was thinking.

And the cat looks like he needs a paper to lie on.

That is a lovely place for the old furniture and Marlowe approves! (Your cat is Marlowe, right?)

"I believe this will do, thank you... Maybe a cushion?"

He tried one of the chairs but the table allowed him to really stretch out.

He looks very satisfied with the arrangement.

The table provides a very good platform for birdwatching.
