Political Analysis

My Mother: (scanning front page of Daily Telegraph) Who's this?

One of Us: Donald Trump.

MM: (searching her memory banks) Donald Trump.....?

OOU: The next President of the United States.

MM: He needs a haircut.

In the hair department that's not all he needs.

And in any other department, either.

Is it my imagination or has the hairstyle become marginally less silly since the election?

One thing I'm almost certain of is that he's looking older.

You probably notice more than I do, I try really hard to ignore him and his hair. In a few days that will be less possible.

I can understand that. I sometimes think we'd be better off paying less attention to politicians.

Your mother is right. If it only were that simple, though, and all he needed was a haircut to make him more palatable.

A good haircut would be a start.

Spot on your mum!

She doesn't know who he is but she recognises a bad hairstyle when she sees one.

We're all getting a haircut, starting Friday.

Whether we want one or not...

She's right.

There's this great extension for the Chrome browser, called "Make America Kittens Again." If there's a news piece with Trump in the headline and a big photo, it automatically replaces the photo (which is usually of the Orange One) with a photo of kittens. Most refreshing...

He needs a sharp cut right at the jugular, in my opinion.
