Younger Than They Look

Henry VIII became a shambling wreck, riddled with disease- an old, old man.

Actually he was 55 when he died.

And his father- the miser- with his gaunt, hollowed out face?

He died at 52.

Elizabeth I was the long-lived one in that family. She made it all the way to 69.

I can remember those younger days when I thought 50 was ancient.

When we were kids people in their sixties dressed and acted old. These days there's less of that. Look at Mick Jagger.
