An Angel Remembers

We made a universe-
Me and the others-
Sisters and brothers.
Could have been worse

But we made it all red-
Scarlet and puce
And raspberry juice.
It was- limited.

Our next one was green-
So many trees
And seas and seas,
Skies of chlorine...

O, we were wild,
Dancing and spinning,
In the beginning.

And now I'm a child.
