Love Hastings!

You still thinking of living there?

We're still thinking of living on the South Coast- Hastings is a possibility, but so are Bexhill and Dymchurch and other places.

I know you mentioned Margate too.

I did. But Margate is rather out on a limb. We'd be a long way from most of the people we'd want to see.

That's a bit like us with Orkney which is why we're going for Shropshire.

I love those crescents -- a style that never caught on here that I know of.

Not even in Eastern towns like Boston?

Crescents are lovely- and this one looks straight out to sea.

I love Hastings too. Will be visiting again soon, maybe tomorrow or next week.

It's our nearest seaside town- and we drive down regularly.
