Heatwave

We're having a heatwave. Temperatures are set to graze the magic 100 farenheit. Yesterday we had clear blue skies, today we have high, gauzy, sugar-spun cloud.

The British Library advises that you can linger in their Treasures Gallery, which is 1) free and 2) 17 C.

That's a pleasant thought- only I'd have to get there first...

oooh, you guys aren't used to that kind of weather. Drink lots of water. Those poor tennis players at Wimbledon...

No, we're not. I believe it went over 100 on the centre court yesterday.

That's US Open weather, not Wimbledon weather. Still, they played in Australia where it was TONS hotter.

Stay cool.

Thanks.

They're saying today has been the hottest in Wimbledon's history.

Boo. I am not a fan of hot weather. Where I live, it gets humid, so for the past decade I have switched to woven fabrics when it's hotter - T shirts, I was starting to just die in them.

That sounds very sensible.
