No More Making Mountains Out Of Mole Hills

We have two recurrent mole hills on the lawn. Two years ago my mother would have objected to them- and we'd have been calling in the mole catcher and she'd have been trying to beat him down on price- but now she's stopped caring about almost everything except having her meals served regularly and on time.

And so I go out with my besom and sweep the hills away- and the moles build them up again in the night.

Maybe you can rent a terrier. Or python.

We have armadillos. They live under the deck at an elderly neighbor's house. they've been there for years. No tunnels, just little funnel shaped holes in everyone's yard. But we enjoy their company.

I enjoy the company of the moles or- because that's a bit of an overstatement- am perfectly happy to have them around. I don't much care for a lawn.

Can you buy Juicy Fruit gum where you are? I know that sounds weird, but if you can, get some and put pieces down the mole holes. It will get rid of them.

Or not, if you really do enjoy their company.

I think juicy fruit is available but I've no particular wish to move the moles on.

That almost made me cry, for some reason. Initially I thought "I hope I never get like that!", then thought that perhaps it wouldn't be so bad. I do like meals...

She seems perfectly happy with her life. It's strange.

You now have convenient holes to dump your compost!

In the middle of the lawn?

moles are eating the things eating the lawns root
sadly they also do the lawn in

we've got tons of the damn things
sirius kills them when above ground

jack used to go after them in the grown
but his tunneling was way worse!
