I love the framing in the last photo. I just googled Knole House and what an interesting history...a calendar house it seems.

It's one of the great houses of England- up there with Hampton Court, Blenheim, and not many others.

And the oldest parts of this were built by Thomas Bourchier, who crowned Edward IV, Richard III, and Henry VII. A survivor...
