Easier

Judy suggests that the Presidential race in 2008 will be between Hillary & Jeb.

That's so dynastic it's practically medieval.

It's like the Wars of the Roses. Like the Capulets v the Montacutes.

It seems as though every political system slides backwards if let- towards such primitive institutions as monarchy and aristocracy and clan.

As George W Bush jokingly said (oh, but he meant it)- "A dictatorship would be a heck of a lot easier."

I get the impression with Hillary that she'd do anything for power. That bothers me. I don't like the way she's changed her image from sixties hippie chick to boiler-plated political machine.

She's much less charming than roguish Bill.

But (almost) anyone would be preferable to a continuation of the Bush dynasty.

Judy, who studies political form, says Jeb is a lot smarter than Dubya.

Yes, whether you liked him or not Bill Clinton was a charmer and a rogue (and looks fabulous since his surgery!)

HOw strange that you saw Hil as 60's hippy chick, I never saw her that way.

I don't care how smart Jeb is, he's a BUSH. We've had enough Bush men (and women) in the White House. He's even more of a religious fanatic, he tried to make sure that Terri Schiavo wouldn't get her final peace.

I read something or saw something that portrayed the very young Hillary as a straggle-haired, spectacle wearing political activist. I find that image attractive- much more attractive than the thing she's become.

Oh yes, we've had quite enough of the Bushes.
