Yesterday I was miserable. Today I'm cheerful. I'm not sure why in either case.

Moods are like weather.

I'm sorry you were miserable yesterday, but I am glad you're feeling better today. Who knows. That happens to me, too.

I'm becoming increasingly convinced that my moods are influenced by the weather, and not just whether it's sunny or not, but actual changes in air pressure. I've noticed this winter that I sometimes wake up feeling alert and full of energy before the sun has even peeped through the curtains, and then it does turn out to be a sunny day.

I think you're onto something.

I always find February pretty hard to deal with.

The Buddhists say to cultivate a mind like the sky - moods come and go like clouds, but the sky is always the sky.
