Not Exactly The Sands Of Iwo Jima

I dreamed it was World War II and one allied soldier was pointing his very big gun at another allied soldier and asking him if he was gay. Turns out he was only trying to make friends. Act two involved him inviting the second soldier to his place in the country to meet his husband.

I'm tempted to ask what you had for supper and just how late you got round to eating it.

If you had told me, 30 years ago, that same-sex relationships would become socially, even legally, acceptable, I should never have believed it. How did we get here and why were we so cruel and heartless back then?

Spaghetti putanesca- so, yes, a fairly heavy meal.

It's remarkable how quickly things have changed. But I suppose that's how things happen. Once you make a small breach in a dam it's not going to be long before the whole thing collapses.

Whore's spaghetti eh?

That might explain a lot!

I've gone from being a weird unperson to being legally female in less than a lifetime so I suppose you could say that we're getting there! :o)

My favourite dish. And so easy to make.

We've lived through a remarkable social revolution in the past half century.

LOL. That's pretty funny. Not a funny as my OTHER friend who dreamed that all sperm are attracted by smell to Benedict Cumberbatch, but it's close.

Yeah. Me too. Which is why I was still thinking about it when I read Polyphilo's dream.
