So McDonald's fries aren't vegetarian.

No, they're cooked in an oil that contains "natural beef extract". They also have all sorts of shite added to them- including sugar.

Ah well, It's not as if the company claims they're vegetarian. I'd just assumed...

And as Ailz is fond of saying, "You shouldn't assume; it makes an ass of u and me".

Not surprising, really. When it comes to fast food, probably better to assume that nothing is as it appears.

Nothing Macdonads produces can be assumed to be vegetarian. I'd even have doubts about their salads given the levels of additives and crap they use........

Yes. And this includes all of their deep fried pies, too... anything that gets put into that big frying vat that they use. It is filled with this thick white substance that, melted, because a lethal, bubbly golden liquid death that they are very fond of dipping things into.

It was a good place to work for a teenager. They taught me a lot of really valuable working skills. However, I went back a few years later as an adult, and it was nothing but pure exploitation.... horrible. But it was in a different store in a different state.
