Enter The Cat

We have a cat. He came with the name Zowie but he'd only had it for a week or two- since he entered the care system- and we've changed it to Marlowe (Kit for short.) No pictures yet because he's in hiding....

I like the new name. Hopefully he won't get into bar fights...

We won't give him the opportunity.

You could have given a few more details of our new baby - he's a ginger - actually called a ginger/apricot as he has no white and very few bars. He weight 5.8 kilos - nearly 13 pounds and was very, very sick in his carrier coming back from the sanctuary. He was handed in as a stray on New Year's eve in London somewhere and was brought to the Greenacres sanctuary yesterday specifically to see if we would like him - what is there not to like? He's now on a chair in the kitchen with food, water, bed and litter.

He's gorgeous

Sounds lovely! And (Kit) Marlowe is a great name for a cat. I hope he settles in happily, and am looking forward to some pictures.

It is a great name for a cat. Make sure that later he does not become a P.I. with his own office.
