Off We Go

The water I put out for the birds was frozen this morning. Winter storms are forecast; we'll be driving up into them- and then have them follow us back down.

Kirstie will be staying with my mother while we're away. The plan is to get this thing done in as short a time as possible.

Hey. We're expecting a winter storm here, after it's been clear for the last four weeks of my being stuck in the house. My pre op appointments are all this week. I wish you the best of luck. I know you will be safe, just take it easy. You're ending one life and you've been living the other for quite awhile but now, this part, means you really can't go back to where you were. Physically, as well as mentally, that is seldom possible anyway.

Take your time. A short time yes, but don't rush to the detriment of your safety. You and A are an important part of LJ for us.

Good luck with the move. The weather is pretty horrible here. I hope it's better for you, but I suspect it's pretty general, so take care on the road.

Thank you. We've done it and we're back in Kent. I don't plan to do very much else over the next day or two.

Thanks. As it happened we avoided the bad weather. This afternoon- when we were driving back down the M40 was bright and sunny.
